H. Manley Dies At 63

Harold H. Manley, 63, 907 S. Seventh, died suddenly at 12:14 a.m. today at the Jefferson County Hospital. He was stricken at his home and taken to the hospital by ambulance.

The body is at the Weston Behner Funeral Home where services are pending.

Harold H. Manley was born Sept. 21, 1914, at Pulaski. He was the son of Peter and Florence Hanson Manley. His marriage to Carrie Goemaat took place Feb. 28, 1940, at Ottumwa.

Manley lived most of his life in the Fairfield community, he was a retired trucker and had been in failing health for some time.

In addition to his widow, Manley is survived by one son, Jimmy K. Manley, Danville; two grandsons; three brothers, Loran, Libertyville; Francis, Monmouth, Ill.; and Richard, Ottumwa; and a sister, Evaleen Mathias, Ottumwa.
