Dr. J.G. STONE, DIED AT HIS HOME, MON., DEC. 16, 1941 FROM A STROKE

Dr. James Gilmer Stone was born May 26, 1883 at Lincoln, Ill. and died Dec. 16, 1941 at his home. Married July 29, 1919 to Mrs. Frances Heaton [see note]. Two children, Betty Madalene and James Francis, two step-sons, E.D. Heaton stationed on U.S.S. Manley on East Coast, Jack Heaton, Salerno, Florida.

Survivors also include 3 sisters and 3 brothers: Elizabeth and Fred Stone of Colorado Springs; Cordelia Stone of Denver; Jennie Stone of Hollywood, Guy Stone of New Holland, Ill., and Paul Stone of Ashton, Idaho.

Practiced in Wheaton, Ill., Burlington, Ia., West Grove, Ia. and last ten years in Bloomfield, Ia.

NOTE: Wife was Mrs. Frances M. (Hillman) Heaton, daughter of John Sidney Hillman and Mary Melissa Baber.
