Mrs. Clara E. Dooley
Mrs. Clara E. Dooley, 68, died at her home, 553 South Ward St., Friday at 6:30 PM. She was the daughter of James and Mary Jane Sanderson and was born in Davis County, March 18, 1869. For the last 15 years she had lived in Ottumwa.
She was a member of the Church of God. Surviving are her husband, James Oliver Dooley; five sons, Adolph and C. O. of Ottumwa: J. L. of Queen city, Missouri, Luther of San Fernando, California, and Eugene of Sac City; one sister, Mrs.
Mattie Frady of Coatsville, Missouri; one half-sister, Mrs. Millie Hancock of Floris; one half-brother, Norris Sanderson of West Slice, Wisconsin; 13 grandchildren and one great-grandson. Short funeral services will be held at Johnson's funeral Chapel by the Rev. C. A. Longton at 2 PM in the Lancaster, Missouri, Christian church, conducted by the Rev. Mr. Stevens. Burial be made in the Lancaster cemetery.
