Mrs. McClure, 71, Dies Late Today
Had Been Resident Of Ottumwa For 27 years; Ill Since July 10.
Mrs. Vina McClure, 71, of 507 N. Sheridan Ave., died at 1:10 PM today in the Ottumwa hospital. She had been a patient there since July 10 of this year.
Mrs. McClure had been a resident of Ottumwa for the last 27 years. She was born near Eldon January 23, 1866 the daughter of George and Martha Nupp. She was married to Samuel Warren McClure March 16, 1886. Mrs. McClure and her husband celebrated their 51st wedding anniversary this year. Surviving are her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Ed Evans, Mrs. Lloyd Frost and Mrs. Arlin Davis of Ottumwa and Mrs. C. A. Henderson of Eldon; five sons, W. Harley, Lloyd Clyde and Willis McClure of Ottumwa and Raymond McClure of Waterloo; one sister, Mrs. Elias Lanman of Eldon; two brothers, Emery Nupp of Eldon and Charles Nupp of Floris; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The body is at the Lester Jay funeral home pending completion of funeral arrangements.

Funeral services for Mrs. Vina McClure of 507 N. Sheridan Ave. who died at the Ottumwa hospital at 1 PM Friday, will be held the Lester Jay funeral home Sunday at 2:30 PM, conducted by the Rev. Roy C. Leeds pastor of The Davis St., Christian church. Burial will be made in the Shaul cemetery. Mrs. McClure was a member of the Bethlehem Christian church. Pallbearers will be Ralph G.
Davis, Bert E. Horner, Charles E. Matthew, H. Lloyd Byrum, Clyde Dorsite and John W. Evans.
