John Ernst returned home Saturday from Kansas, where he was visiting his brothers. They were both sick when he went, and both of hem died. the and he with their father and mother were among the earliest settlers of this vicinity. Wm Ernst was a member of the famous 3rd Iowa Calvary, and served his time out with them in the civil war.
