HOMES OF FAIRFIELD -- 309 E. Hempstead.... Built by James EDMISTON, old time tailor who moved to Bloomfield in the early '80s. His daughter married John M. GOBBLE, wholesale grocer at Muscatine. Now and for years a widow, and a son living in California.
