Clyde Bales, 57, was found dead in his bed Wednesday morning at his home in Dexter by Oscar Carpenter.
Coroner L. H. DeFord was called and he decided death came as a result of a heart attack, presumably sometime before midnight. He was last seen alive about 9 o’clock that evening.
Mr. Bales, who lived alone, was not married and is survived by a brother, H. Bales, of Redfield, and a sister, Mrs. Sam McKee of Stuart.
The body was brought to the DeFord funeral home in Redfield. Funeral services were held in Dexter Friday afternoon.
