Page 2, Column 3Services were at 10 a.m. Monday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Perry for Norman S. Roberts, 69, of Perry.
He died at Des Moines General Hospital Friday.
Organist was Virginia White.
Honorary pallbearers were Andy Appenzeller, Daniel Engstrom, Herbert Crumm, Roy Meyers, Kirtland Piper and Donald Renshaw.
Pallbearers were Ben Clausen, John Clausen, Lee Meyers, James Paullin, Lyle Roberts and David G. Wright.
Son of Josiah and Mattie Murphy Roberts, he was born June 29, 1917, in Adair County. He graduated from Dexter High School. He married Eloise Lindsay Feb. 20, 1938, in Dexter.
Roberts farmed in the Dexter, Boone and Dallas Center areas before retiring and moving to Perry three years ago.
He was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother and two sisters.
Survivors include his wife, Eloise, and a sister, Mabel Norman of Des Moines.
