Funeral services for Floyd Walker, 79, were held Friday afternoon in the Dexter Methodist Church with interment in the Dexter cemetery. Mr. Walker passed away Tuesday night in the Dexter hospital after a lingering illness. He was a carpenter by trade until his health failed. Survivors include his wife, Serena; two daughters, Mrs. Virgil Musselman of Des Moines and Mrs. Ila Myers of Council Bluffs; one son, George of Paton; one sister, Mrs. Minta Vogel of Grand Island, Nebraska; and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Neva Gardner.
