Henry Franklin Brown was born at Minturn, Arkansas, on June 3, 1907, and passed away at his home at Menlo, Iowa, on January 26, 1942 at the age of 34 years, 7 months and 23 days.

He was united in marriage to Ollie Mae Lancaster on July 2, 1928, at Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. To this union were born two children, one daughter, Edna Nadine, age 11 years, and one son, Henly Frankin, who died in infancy on March 9, 1935.

He leaves to mourn his passing, his wife, Mrs. Ollie Mae Brown, and daughter, Edna Nadine Brown; his mother, Mrs. Laura M. Brown, of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas and four sisters, Mrs. Mabelle Hendricks, of Ellsworth, Ill., Aletha Cline of Bono, Ark., Mrs. Lena Cavenaugh, of Walnut Ridge, Ark. Mrs. Audry Foister, of Florida, and many other relatives and a host of friends.

He was one of the most true and loving husband and father. He was true and kind to everyone, and had many friends. He was loved by everyone who knew him.

His presence is gone, but his love and memory will always be in our hearts. We will be prepared to meet him for we know he is at rest. He is gone, but not forgotten; but in our hearts he will always remain a darling son and brother.

The pallbearers were three brother-in-laws, Jesse Lancaster, George Lancaster and Floyd Foss; two cousins, Curtiss Belew and Lawson Belew, and friend, Earl Shinn.

Services were conducted by Rev. Pearson Wednesday, January 28th, at two o’clock at Bufkin Funeral Home. Interment in Dexter cemetery.
