Mrs. Annie Kelley, who has been ill at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. R. K. Price for sometime, died Sunday morning about 3 o’clock. She has been ill nearly a year and even prior to that time was not a rugged woman. She perhaps contracted the disease from her first husband, Thos. Monroe, who died a few years ago with the same disease, but did not know she had the disease until a few months ago. She was about 36 years old and leaves two children, Flossie and Walter Monroe, and her husband, Mr. J. I. Kelley, to whom she was married about a year ago. Deceased was a very highly esteemed lady who had a great many friends in this vicinity and at Minburn where she had more recently resided.

The funeral was held from the M.E. church Monday afternoon at 2 o’clock. Rev’s. W. F. Bartholomew, J. W. Stribbling, and W. J. Hadley conducting the service. The remains were interred in the Dexter cemetery.
