Charles Elmer Love, oldest son of Earl and Anna Love, was born June 26, 1933 in Des Moines, Iowa and departed this life January 8, 1964 in an automobile accident near Ankeny, Iowa.

Charles attended schools in Des Moines and Dexter, and graduated from the Altoona High School. In addition he had two years of college at Ames. He was a laboratory technician at the John Deere Des Moines Works and in his home he operated a television repair shop. He was a member of the Methodist church at Ankeny.

Mr. Love is survived by two sons, Charles 8 and Nick 4, two step-sons Bill Wolfe 20 and Dick Wolfe 14, one step-granddaughter, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Love, three brothers and many other relatives and friends.

His wife, Kathleen Elizabeth was born July 10th 1923 to Mack and Mildred Schell near Dexter, Iowa, and departed this life in the same automobile accident on January 8, 1964.

Kathleen attended first grade in the Redfield school and finished her schooling in Dexter. She, too, was a member of the Methodist church at Ankeny, having transferred from the Dexter church which she joined in 1934.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and is survived by three sons, Bill Wolfe 20, Dick Wolfe 14, Nick Love 4, one step-son, Charles Love 8, a granddaughter, one brother, one sister, two step-brothers, two step-sisters, a step-mother and by many relatives and friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Love had made their home in Ankeny for five and one-half years.

Services were held in the Methodist church in Dexter, January 10. Rev. John Latta officiated. Robert Lawson played the organ. Mesdames LaVerne Schaaf, James Leighty and Roy Evans were in charge of flowers.

Casket bearers were Leonard Trent, Merle Trent, Dwight Trent, Bill Madren, Dean Henar and Vern Morris. Arthur Den-Adel, James Heles, William Hauge, Fred Krambeck, Dean Stump and Francis Weinman.

Interment was in the Dexter cemetery.
