The funeral services of Mrs. Baxter George were held at her home two and one-half miles east of Dexter last Friday morning. Rev. Ainslie of the Presbyterian church conducted the services, after which she was laid to rest in the Dexter cemetery. Mrs. George was born in New York in 1822. She was married to Baxter George in 1842, with whom she has peacefully lived until her death which occurred on Wednesday of last week. All of Baxter’s friends extend to him their heartiest sympathy.
