Juanita M. Bebout, 90, passed away from this life on Sunday, April 1, 2018, at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. Celebration of Juanita’s life will be held with family from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 6, at the Sundberg-Kirkpatrick Chapel, 202 Market St., Madrid, IA 50156. There will be no funeral services held. Cremation rites will be accorded following the Friday celebration, and a private family burial will take place at the Dexter Cemetery in Dexter, Iowa at a later date.

Juanita was born on October 18, 1927 in Afton, Iowa, to Roscoe and Bertha Bullock Scott. On June 30, 1948 Juanita married Francis G. Bebout in Dexter, Iowa and their marriage was blessed with three sons. Juanita worked for the FBI in Washington, DC before she married Francis. Most of Juanita’s life she worked at the grocery store in Woodward. She was an avid fan of the Iowa Hawkeyes, the Chicago Cubs and the Minnesota Vikings.

Juanita is survived by two sons, Steve (Betty) Bebout and Jerry Bebout both of Woodward; four grandchildren, Desiree (Jay) Reading of Wimberley,TX, Travis ( Meggan) Bebout of Des Moines, IA, Lance(Christine) Bebout of Fort Collins Co, Shay Bebout (Matt Hansen) of Fort Collins Co.. Three great grandchildren, Eli & Zeke Bebout of Des Moines, IA, and Cassidy Winn of Fort Collings Co; a brother Bobby (Betty) Scott of Stuart, sister, Velma Owens of Des Moines, and several nieces and nephews and many friends.

Juanita was preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years Francis. Also preceding her in death was her son Scott Eugene Bebout, four brothers, and two sisters.
