Adam Frank Williamson, Menlo, Iowa, former Stuart community resident, died Saturday evening, May 8th, at 9:45 p.m. at the age of 85 years, 8 months, and 20 days, at the Acker Nursing Home in Greenfield.

The son of Solomon M. Williamson and Mary Jane Hester Williamson, he was born in Kansas, August 19, 1879.

He was married to Orpha L. McCain, Feb. 19, 1913, at Atlantic, Iowa. She preceded him in death in January of 1958. Also preceding him in death were three daughters and two sons, all in infancy.

His active life was spent in farming in the Dexter and Stuart communities. He was a member of the Dexter Odd Fellows Lodge. He had resided at his daughters the past two years until entering the Acker Nursing Home one month ago.

He is survived by two sons, and one daughter, Harold Williamson of Stuart, Dean Williamson of Loveland, Colo., and Mrs. Duane (Dorothy) Darrow of Menlo and nine grandchildren. Also a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon, May 11, from the Bufkin Funeral Home with Rev. Wilson Grismore of Guthrie Center officiating. Music was furnished by Robert Lawson, Mrs. S. D. Williams, Mrs. Edwin Eversull, and Mrs. L. R. Denny assisted with the flowers. Casket bearers were S. D. Williams, James Adkins, Sr, Don Miller, L. R. Denny, Earl Brinton and Arnold Tibben. Interment was in the cemetery at Dexter.
