PERRY, IA.- A graveside service for Ruth Vandever, 80, of Perry, who died of a heart ailment Saturday at Dallas County Hospital, will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Violet Hill Cemetery here.

Mrs. Vandever had been a lifelong resident of Perry. She had been a cook at the Dallas County Hospital and was a member of the B.P.O. Does.

Survivors include a son, Charles of Perry; a daughter, Doris Diddy of Stuart; a sister, Helen Robertson of Pittsburg, MO.; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Friends may call after 1 p.m. today at the Fouch-Murdock Funeral Home here, where the family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register 23 Mar 1987.
