PerryA 10:30 a.m., memorial service will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2009, at St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Perry. Visitation begins after 2 p.m., Tuesday, with the family present to visit with friends from 5 to 7 p.m., at Murdock Funeral Home. A memorial has been established in Betty's name.
Betty was born on May 25, 1929. She lived most of her life in Perry where she was a member of St. Martin's Episcopal Church, and the Webster Garden Club.
She is survived by her daughters; Susie (Jay) Wilson, of Perry, Martha (Doug) Stetzel, of Perry; a son-in-law;, Jim Garnett, of Atlanta, GA; eight grandchildren; four great- grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Brintnal, of St. Joseph, MI.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents; husband, John, in 1992; and her daughter, Liz Garnett, in 2007. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Tribune Tues 13 Jan 2009.
