Bernita Scott (Beaman) Roberts, 88, mother to 13 children, 107 grandchildren, 78 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2013. She was born March 21, 1924 in Afton, IA to Rosco and Bertha (Bullock) Scott.

Bert was preceded in death by her parents Rosco and Bertha Scott; brothers Calivn, Clayton, Donald and Johnny; sister Ethel; husband John Roberts; daughter Deborah Ann; son Don; and Ralph Beaman.

Bert is survived by Ron, Jean, Jim, Kathleen, Ed, Janet, Pam, Paul, Terri, Dave, Marjorie, Kathy, Mike, Connie, Evie, Mike, Dave, Kathy, Carolyn, Bobbie, Betty, Juanita Velma and Gary.

Family will be present Monday, Jan. 21, 10 a.m. Memorial service at 11 a.m., Richardson Funeral Home, 415 School St, Carlisle, IA.

Burial will follow at Hartford Cemetery in Hartford, IA
