Florence M. Berry, 93, of Valley View Village, 2571 Guthrie Ave., died of cancer there Friday. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Highland Park Christian Church, of which she was a member. Burial will be at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Mrs. Berry was born in Bellflower, Mo., and had lived in Des Moines since 1943. She was a homemaker.

Among survivors are three daughters, Beverly Jones of Des Moines, Barbara McDonald of Dallas Center and Marlene Plaster of Kearny, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions may be made to her church or American Cancer Society. ~ The Des Moines (IA) Register, Sun 6 July 1997.
