Jacob B. Fillman died suddenly Wednesday morning at his home about three and three quarters miles northwest of Earlham. A heart attack was said to be the cause of his death which occurred as he was going about his chores. Mr. Fillman was 76 years old. Funeral services in charge of Rev. Peter Bock will be held at the Dexter Presbyterian church Friday afternoon, August 26, at two o’clock. Interment will be in the Dexter cemetery.
