Mrs. Eli Goar died at her home in Van Meter last Wednesday morning at six o’clock. She was buried Thursday afternoon in the Thornton cemetery.

Note: Gravestone is located in Otterman Cemetery near DeSoto, Iowa. Husband of Eli Goar. Emily was born Nov. 30, 1838 and died April 20, 1904.
