Local NewsThe Dallas County News has this note of the death of a former pastor of the Winterset Methodist circuit: Word has been received here to the effect that Rev. F. M. Slusser, formerly the pastor of the M. E. Church at this place, died last Sunday at the Soldier’s home, at Dayton, Ohio. Rev. Slusser will be remembered by many Adel people. It is the intention of the relatives to bring the mortal remains here for burial and a telegram announces that the party will reach here tomorrow (Thursday) morning. The funeral services will be held at the M. E. Church, immediately after the arrival of the train. Mr. Slusser was 76 years and 4 months old. His wife died here, and is buried at the Odd Fellows cemetery east of town.
