Des Moines, Jan. 4 – Charles McAfee, a saloon keeper, and Louis E. Brown have been arrested on suspicion of having been implicated in the robbery of the Brown Dry Good Store in DeSoto, Wednesday night. The merchandise was found secreted on the premises of Charles Jones, who was arrested yesterday, amounted to $3,000 in value, and has been identified as amounting to half of the stolen goods. Mrs. Jones states that the strangers hauled the plunder to their place on Thursday morning.
