Robbed New Year’s Night of
Valuables

DeSota, Ia,. Jan. 2 – The Brown’s Dry Goods store was robbed last night and two wagon loads of plunder had been secured. Manager D. J. Forbes estimate the loss at $2,000, consisting of clothing, dry goods and jewelry. Bolts of cloth were scattered along the road for a short distance after which the trail could not be found.
