Dies in Attempt To Dig Out Fox

Jesse J. Renfrow, 46, farm manager,was killed Sunday afternoon while digging out a fox, two miles northwest of here, on one of the farms he managed for John S. Rhinehart.
Renfrow's body was found, with all but the fingers covered by dirt in a 12-foot hole in the side of a knoll, by Ervin Prouty, 16 son of the tenant on the farm.
Prouty was led to the spot by Renfrow's dog, which came barking to the Prouty home.
Renfrow, who lived in Dallas Center, is survived by his wife, his mother, Mrs. Dora Renfrow, Adel; two daughters, Mrs. Don Braddy, Ames and Mrs. Ray Chartier, Dallas Center; one son John, Dallas Center and a brother, Jerome, Bouton.
