WARRANTY DEED
A.J. Slaninger to F.J. Slaninger 1901

Know all Men by these Presents:
That A.J. Slaninger, "A Single Man" of Dallas County and State of Iowa in consideration of the sum of Four Hundred Dollars in hand paid by F.J. Slaninger of Dallas County, and State of Iowa do hereby SELL AND CONVEY unto the said F.J. Slaninger the following described premises, situated in the County of Dallas and State of Iowa, to-wit:

The Undivided one half of the North East Quarter of the North East Quarter of Section No. Twenty Three (23) Township No. Eighty (80) North of Range No. Twenty Eight (28) West 5" P.M. Iowa.

And I hereby covenant with the said F. J. Slaninger that I hold said premises by good and perfect title; that I have good right and lawful authority to sell and convey the same; that they are free and clear of all liens and encumbrances whatsoever.

And I covenant to WARRANT AND DEFEND the said premises against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever.

And the said A.J. Slaninger hereby relinquishes his right in and to the above described premises.

On this 31" day of January A.D. 1901 before me J. Lovel Joy within and for said County, personally came A.J. Slaninger, A Single Man personally to me known to be the identical person whose name is affixed to the above instrument as Grantor, and acknowledged the execution of the same to be his voluntary act and deed for the purposes therein expressed.
