The remains of the late John T. Robertson, passed through the city Sunday to North Bend where they will be laid to rest in the family burial ground. Mr. Robertson died at Mt. Pleasant Sunday. Venora Lindsey Johnson
March 10, 1920 - January 7, 2019Venora Lindsey Johnson, 98, of Middleton, Idaho, passed away on January 7th, 2019 in Boise, Idaho.
Venora Johnson was born in Harrison County, Missouri on March 10, 1920. On February 9th 1961, Venora married Harold Johnson in Gresham, Oregon. Harold had one daughter, Beverly Johnson, whom Venora raised as her own with an abundance of love and cherished memories.In 1983, her grandson, John Ashman, was born. She adored John and in her eyes he could do no wrong. She spent countless hours playing with him and enjoyed it as much as he did.
Venora had an amazing life. She welded in the shipyards, owned a beauty salon, and was a master woodworker. She enjoyed genealogy and researched her family history for 8 years. She compiled her research and authored a book on that history.
She will be deeply missed - her memories will last forever.Venora is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Ruth Lindsey, husband Harold Johnson, and one sister Elaine Lindsey Johnson. Venora is survived by her daughter Beverly Johnson and her husband Michael Gross, grandson John Ashman and his wife Chelsie Ashman, and one brother Dwight Lindsey.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, January 11, 2019 at Middleton Cemetery. Arrangements are by Flahiff Funeral Chapel.
