The following item was received the other day by relatives of Mr. Anderson. He is a cousin of Andrew and Abe Anderson and Mrs. Oscar C. Johnson, also brother of Mrs. Mary Johnson, deceased.

Anthon W. Anderson passed away on Jan 1, 1942 at a private sanitarium in Berkley, California. He had been there only a few days when death released him.

Memorial services were held in Berkley on Jan 3, 1942 at 10:00 am with the Unitarian minister officiating. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife and daughter, Ottilia, and a large number of relatives and friends.

He held many responsible offices in both township and county since his residence in California. He formerly owned the farm now owned by Joe Gierman and occupied by Willie Nelson southeast of Kiron.
