Addic Anderson, son of Erick Anderson and Anna Benson Anderson, was born March 10,1878 on a farm S.E. of Kiron. At the age of 2 he moved with his parents to Hayes township where he resided until his passing. He married Ellen Ahlquist April 30,1913 and to this union for children were born, 1 daughter and 3 sons. During his youth he attended Bethel Lutheran Church of Kiron were he was confirmed July 1892, later he joined the Evangelical Free Church of Kiron were he was an active member and faithfully attended.

The last few months he had been in failing health and he died at Crawford Memorial hospital July 26,1957 at the age of 79 years, 4 months and 16 days. Preceding him in death were his wife who died March 30,1954, parents, 2 sister and 3 brothers.

He leaves to mourn his death his daughter Eileen and sons Arthur, Lloyd and Wilbur, a sister, Alma Anderson all of Kiron and many relatives and friends. Services were held Monday afternoon at 2:00 from the Ev. Free Church of Kiron with Rev. Carl Johnson officiating and burial in the Kiron Cemetery. Pallbearers were R H Hewitt, Edwin Turin, Earl Linquist, Clifford Hansen, George Carlson, and Warren Carlson.
