John Klink Died While Undergoing an Operation

John Rudolph Klink, 35, a resident of East Boyer township since March, died at the Denison hospital Tuesday afternoon, June 13, at five-thirty, while undergoing an appendicitis operation. His illness was of five hours duration.

He was the son of Willie Klink Sr. and Martha Petersen, who passed away in 1920. Mr. Kllnk was born on May 24, 1909, and attained the age of 35 years and 19 days

Mr. Klink was married on Feb. 24, 1932, at Denison, to Miss Minnie Anna Petersen, and to this union, one child, a daughter, JoAnn Martha, was born. Mr. and Mrs. Klink lived near Schleswig until moving to East Boyer township this spring.

Surviving is the widow and daughter, the father, Willie Klink, Sr and step-mother, Anna Klink; two sisters, Clara Henningsen of Denison. Elizabeth Jepsen of Dunlap, one brother, Willie Klink, Jr. in the service in New Guinea; two step-brothers, Emil and John Hildebrandt, two step-sisters, Mrs. Fred Eggert and Mrs. Wm. Boyens; one sister-in-law, Mrs. Henry Jaacks, and five brothers-in-law, Jurgen Petersen, John Petersen, Edward Petersen, Lawrence Petersen, and Carl Petersen.

The deceased was a member of Zion Lutheran Church of Denison, where funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at two o'clock in charge of the Rev C W Schmidt Interment will take place in the Lutheran cemetery Pallbearers will be Clarence Schwenn, Walter Jaacks, Walter Meyer, Reiney Mundt, Barney Mundt, and August Steinkuehler.
