ROBERT CHRISTY DEAD

Well Known Character Passes Away at
Home of His Mother in Denison
on Thursday Last

Robert C. Christy died at the home of his mother, Mrs. Alice Christy, in South Denison on Thursday morning about 11 o’clock. Mr. Christy had been in ill health for some time, suffering with tuberculous and his death was not unexpected by his relatives and near friends.

Robert Christy was born in Greenfield, Pa., the first day of January 1882, and had he lived until next January would have been 34 years of age. When a little over a year old he moved with his parents to Denison and has resided here ever since that time. He leaves to mourn his death his mother and three brothers, namely: E. O. Christy, who resides in this city; Albert Christy of Box Elder, Montana and E. E. Christy, who resides in the west.

Funeral services were held at the home on Friday afternoon at 3 o’clock. Rev. J. L. Boyd, pastor of the Methodist Church officiating, assisted by Rev. J. C. Tourtellot, of the Presbyterian Church. Mr. Charles Forsythe and Mr. Rhodes of the Evangelistic party rendered some beautiful music during the service. The body was laid to rest in Oakland Cemetery.
