OBITUARY.

Mrs. Maggie Sold Gilbreath, formerly of this county, departed, this life at her. home, 788 Tihbetts street, in the city of Portland. Ore., July 10, 1911, aged 53 years. Maggie Sold, as she is remembered by many people living here, was born in Lewis county,. New York, on May 9, 1858, and afterwards, in infancy, came with her parents to Minnesota and later to Iowa, where she grew to womanhood and lived until about five years ago in. and around Denison. She was married February 2, 1880, at Dunlap,. Iowa, to William, Gilbreath, of Denison, and to' this union were born three children: Edna, now Mrs. P. F. Caldwell Jetta, now Mrs, R. O. Nicholson, and Curtis B.. Gilbreath, all of Portland,. Ore., what with her bereaved husband,survive her. She also had two brothers, Jake and George Sold, of Knappa, Ore., and two sisters, Mrs.
Helmbrisck and Mrs. Nelson, of Hayfield, Minn. She has one grandchild, Robert Curtis Gilbreath:, and two step sisters, Mrs. W.J. Stavely and Mrs. B. H. Baggley, both of Portland, Ore.

In October,. 1906,. she, with her family, moved to Portland, Ore., where she has since resided until her death. She united with the Baptist church when a young girl and later iti life united with her husband with the Methodist Episcopal church,, to which she belonged for about twenty-five years and was a faithful and devoted: Christian.

Funeral services were conducted from the residence by the Rev. Ingells of the Trinity Methodist Episcopal church on Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock, there being a profusion of flowers from a host of friends and relatives.
