Mrs. Catherine Hagen, a sister of Jacob Fries, of Schleswig, died at the home of her son, Henry Fries, at Ida Grove, November 20th. She was born at Famon, German, Oct. 3, 1850. For the past three years she had made her home here, taking care of her aged mother until January, 1918, when she passed away. Since then she has been staying with her son at Ida Grove. Besides her son she leaves on sister. Mrs. Agnes Ohl, of Dunlap, and one brother, Jacob Fries, of Schleswig.
