Rachel' "Shelly" Lynn Williams, 46, of 155 Jennifer Dr., Robins, died Monday June 11, 2007, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Services: 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Hiawatha, by Rev. Dennis Cahill. Burial: St. Joseph Cemetery. A rosary was recited 6:30 p.m., Wednesday and a Vigil service was held 7 p.m. Wednesday at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church where friends visited from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Thursday after 9 a.m. at the church. Teahen Funeral Home was serving the family.

Shelly is survived by her husband, Gary; a daughter, Monica; two sons, Michael and Kyle, all of Robins; mother, Roberta Otto of Norfolk, NE; two sisters, Denise (David) Behmer of Cedar Rapids and Sharon (John) Matson of Beatrice, NE; and four brothers, Larry (Julie) Otto of Norfolk, NE, Tim (Nancy) Otto of Lincoln, NE, Chris (Lisa) Otto of Oxford, OH and Tom Otto of Cedar Rapids, IA.

Her father, Everett preceded Shelly in death.

Rachel' was born November 12, 1960 in Omaha, NE, daughter of Everett and Roberta Steinhauser Otto. She married Gary Williams on April 25, 1987. She worked as an x-ray technician and was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church.

Shelly was a happy person and always had a smile on her face. In 2003 she was selected as Cancer Survivor of the Year.

She loved children and made friends with them wherever she went. Shelly loved sewing and always had numerous sewing projects.
