Ralph Hannah, 91 of Carroll and formerly of Arcadia, died Thursday (December 28, 2006) at Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison.

Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Huebner Funeral Home in Westside with burial at the Vail Cemetery.

The Huebner Funeral Home in Westside is in charge of arrangements where friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time on Tuesday.

Survivors include one sister, Helen Goodner of Windsor Heights; and one brother, Bob Hannah of Goleta, California.

Funeral services for Ralph M. Hannah, 91, were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at the Huebner Funeral Home in Westside, Iowa, where the family was present at 10:00 a.m., to receive friends.

Ralph was born September 2, 1915 to R. Ralph Hannah and Delia Mason Hannah on a farm near Westside, Iowa, and spent his early years in Vail, Iowa.

During World War II he served four years in the United States Army, part of that time in the Philippines. He received the Bronze Star Medal, the American Defense Service Ribbon, the Philippine Liberation Ribbon with one Star, and the Bronze Service Arrowhead. He was a member of the Arcadia American Legion, and a lifetime member of the Manning V.F.W.

He is survived by his sister, Helen Goodner of Des Moines, Iowa; his brother, Bob Hannah of Goleta, California; five nephews and one niece.

Memorial services were held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, January 2, 2007 at the Huebner Funeral Home in Westside, Iowa. Rev. Carl Noble officiated the services and inurnment held at the Vail Cemetery in Vail, Iowa. Musical selections included, "The Lord's Prayer," and "Amazing Grace, How Sweet the Sound." Those serving as honorary pallbearers were Leonard Koch, Wesley Stoelk, and Arthur "Bud" Bruch. Military Honors were provided by the Arcadia American Legion Post 694 and the Manning V.F.W. Post 3517. The Huebner Funeral Home in Westside was in charge of the arrangements.
