QUITE HOME WEDDING
Manilla Printer Carried Denison Hello
Girl Away
~
On Monday at High Noon at the home of Mr., and Mrs. Larson occurred the wedding of Mr. Thomas A. Moore of Manilla and Miss Lydia L. Winters of this city. The ceremony was performed by Rev. M. M. Cable of Manilla before a small company of relatives and intimate friends. After the final words were spoken a bounteous wedding dinner was served. In the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Moore drove to their new home in Manilla. Mr. Moore is a skilled linotype operator and works for the Enterprise Publishing Co. of Manilla. Mrs. Moore is a charming and capable young lady. As an operator in the Iowa Telephone office here she made many friends all of whom wish her the utmost happiness in her wedded life. Manager Larson tells us that since he came to Denison he has had thirty-four young lady operators and seventeen left his employ to be married. He is thinking of advertising as a matrimonial agent. It is no wonder that he has no difficulty in obtaining pretty girls for his office.
