Hi Kenneth,
I've also been researching Farmer Burns in connected to my Burns/Byrnes/Byrne family. My family came from NYC to Clinton Co., then on to Crawford Co. Family stories are that we were "cousins" to Farmer Burns, but I've not yet found a link. My father has done DNA testing and that has connected us to a parallel Burns family that followed the same route. I haven't yet connected this line to our line or to Farmer Burns. You can find my family tree on Ancestry at the link. There are several unlinked lines in this tree, so you will need to do a tree search to find people. Have you done DNA testing?
