Jane McNaughton death

I am researching the family of Thomas and Jane McNaughton. I find them in the 1860 census living int Clinton Co., IA. I find him remarrying an Elizabneth in 1866 in Clinton Co., IA. I find his brohter William still living there in 1870 but not Thomas. I would like assistance in finding the death of his first wife Jane in Clinton Co. Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
