I am compiling a history of the families who lived near Brown's, Iowa between 1850 and 1925. It is interesting how many of these families eventually became inter-related, because of marriages. I am looking through census records, etc, and getting a lot of help from relatives or families who had a Brown's address in Waterford Township, Clinton County, or Fairfield Township in Jackson County during that time period.
