The Horn & Tamm Families

HORN, TAMM, RHODA-RHODE

1st Lieut. Frederick (Fritz) Horn came to the US in 1854 from Germany and settled in Camanche and he and many family members are buried at Rose Hill Cemetery. He fought all the way to the sea with General Sherman and was wounded twice along the way. He held many offices of city, township and county trust and was County Assessor from 1873-1879 and County Auditor from 1897 to 1899. I am interested in finding who his parents might have been and also other facts regarding both he and his wife, Anna Tamm, who he married in Camanche on Oct. 3, 1859. I believe her father may have been an H.D. Tamm (who I know nothing about) and I know not who her mother might have been. Hope to hear from someone soon.
