The Clinton Herald Wednesday January 12, 1994 p. 9 The funeral will be 1 p.m. Thursday in Clinton Chapel, Snell-Zornig Funeral Home for Howard Fatchett, 86, of 422 2nd Ave. S., who died Tuesday in Samaritan South. The Rev. Brian Hagglund of Zion Lutheran Church will officiate. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. today in the funeral home, where a 6:30 p.m. Masonic Blue Lodge service will be conducted by Sam McKenrick. Burial will be in Prairie Union Cemetery, south of Low Moor. Pallbearers will be Mike Clemence, Gerhardt Jensen, Carl Johnson, John Boland, Dallas Schumacher and Kai Hansen. Mr. Fatchett was born May 1, 1907, in Low Moor, to George and Clara Scott Fatchett. He married Lucille Sentman, Aug. 12, 1931, in Morrison. She died in 1987. He was a graduate of Clinton High School and was employed as a machinist and head of maintenance at Interstate Power Comanyu for more than 38 years, retiring in 1972. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Clinton Scottish Rite Bodies, Camanche Masonic Lodge No. 60 A.F. & A.M., and the KAABA Shrine in Davenport. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. James (Leola) DeKock of Madison, Wis., two sons, Harold of Clinton, and Wayne of Moline; four grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a grandson and a brother. Death date: Jan. 11, 1994.
