The Clinton Herald Friday December 19, 1969 p. 12 Mrs. William H. Iten, 70, formerly of Clinton, who with her husband lived for the past seven years in Naples, Fla., died there Thursday. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in St. John's Episcopal Church in Clinton with the Rev. E.W.G. Worrall officiating. Burial will follow in Springdale cemetery. Funeral arrangements were made through Snell-Smith funeral home. There will be no visitation. Beatrice Beam was born Dec. 31, 1898, in Moline, the daughter of William and Margaret Whiteside Beam. She married William H. Iten, Jan. 21, 1925. She was a past president of the Visiting Nurses Association of Clinton, a member of the HV of P.E.O., the DAR, DAC and the Delphians. Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Mrs. James T. (Faye) Evans of Lake Bluff, Ill., Mrs. Jordan C. (Shirley) Kern of Oakland, N.J.; one son, William F. of Davenport and eight grandchildren.
