SAVANNA, Ill. — Ruby V. Pritchard, 84, of Savanna, died Friday at the Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Mount Carroll, Ill.
Her body will be cremated and a private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
She was born May 2, 1921, in rural Sterling, Ill., to John “Shorty” and Laura Bunzie Meyers. She married Herbert L. Pritchard in 1935 in Missouri. He died in 1969.
She worked in the Dixon (Ill.) State School for more than 20 years.
Survivors include four sons, Billy C. Pritchard of Savanna, Roger Pritchard of Riverview Circle, Ill., Herbert Pritchard of Riverview Circle and Larry Pritchard of Dixon; one daughter, Carol Stewart of Rochelle, Ill.; two brothers, Peter Meyers of Sterling, Ill., and Albert Meyers of Texas; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
