Lois L. Skow

Lois L. Skow 83, of LaGrange and formerly of Clinton, died Wednesday at Parkview LaGrange Hospital.

Visitation will be Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the service time at Mount Zion Lutheran Church, LaGrange. Funeral services will be Friday at 11:30 a.m. at Mount Zion Church. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the Clinton Lawn Cemetery with the Rev. Elizabeth Liggett of St. Paul Lutheran Church officiating. Lemke Funeral Homes, North Chapel, 2304 N. Second St., is in charge of arrangements.

She was born April 27, 1922, in Clinton to Francis H. and Lydia M. Dellit Hamann. She married Eugene L. Skow on March 24, 1946, in Clinton.

She was a homemaker.

She was a member of Mount Zion Lutheran Church in LaGrange serving as a Sunday school teacher and choir member. She was president of the Longfellow PTA in Clinton and was a Cub Scout den mother. She was a member of the Phi Sigma Alpha Sorority, RTC captain of the Sarah Harding Home, board member of the YWCA, Eagle Point Nature Society and was a city of Clinton Board member and delivered Mobile Meals.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jeff (Marilyn) Wingstrom of Wolcottville, Ind.; two sons, Gerald Skow of Rogers, Ind., and Charles (Peg) Skow of Coupeville, Wash.; and four grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Mount Zion Church, LaGrange; American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, one son and one brother.
