. Elizabeth Ann "Libbie" Creger, 30, 8760 Whitetail Lane, formerly of Goose Lake, Iowa, died

Wednesday, April 22, 1998, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.

Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, with burial of the

cremated remains in Oakland Cemetery, both in Clinton. Friends may call from 3 to 9 p.m. today at

Snell-Zorning Funeral Home, Clinton.

Mrs. Creger was an attorney in Dubuque. She was employed by the city of Dubuque as the human

rights department director.

She was born on May 23, 1967, in Clinton, daughter of Robert and Janice (Struve) Wede. She

married Rick Creger on April 24, 1993, in Goose Lake.

She was a 1985 graduate of North East High School, Goose Lake. She graduated from the

University of Iowa and the University of Iowa Law School in 1992.

Surviving are her husband, Rick Creger, of Dubuque; a daughter, Emma Elizabeth Creger, of

Dubuque; her parents, Robert and Janice Wede, of Goose Lake; her sisters, Robin Wede, of

Clinton, and Marcia (Todd) Baldridge, of Lafayette, La.; and her grandmother, Vernetta M. Wede,

of Clinton.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Memorials may be given to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, her favorite charity.
