David M. Minge, 41, of Erie, died Wednesday at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Countryside Christian Church, Port Byron, Ill. Burial will be at Bethesda Cemetery, Hillsdale, Ill. Gibson Funeral Home, Erie is in charge of arrangements.
He was born Sept. 11, 1964, in Geneseo, Ill., to Roy and Clara Reed Minge. He married Coral Meyer on May 16, 1998, in Rock Island, Ill.
He worked at J.E. Toppert Trucking, Hillsdale.
He was a member of Countryside Christian Church and the Laborers Local 309.
Survivors include his wife; daughters, Kortney Minge and Brook Snowden, both at home; two grandchildren; and five sisters, including Patricia McClaran of Leon, Janet Sunderland of Salem, Ky., and Donna Bier of Clinton.
Memorials may be made to an education fund for his daughter, Kortney.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
