Funeral services for Donald W. Leinbaugh, 65, Clarence, were held Jan. 20, 1997 at Bethlehem Lutheran church in Lost Nation, with the Rev. Donnita Moeller officiating. Joan Clapp was the organist and pallbearers were Kevin and Scott Leinbaugh; Lon, Dana and Bret Zeller, and Gary Feuss. Honorary pallbearers were Mark and Kent Patterson. Burial was in the Lost Naton cemetery.

Mr. Leinbaugh died Jan. 16 at Wheatland Manor Nursing Home, following a long illness.

The son of Lafe and Esther Rohling Leinbaugh, he was born Oct. 24, 1931 in rural Lost Nation.

Mr. Leinbaugh was a farmer.

He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran church in Lost Nation. He enjoyed electronics.

Mr. Leinbaugh is survived by 4 sisters, Alice Hamdorf and Helen Casad, both of Maquoketa; Donna Zeller, Wheatland; and Avis Patterson, Bella Vista, Ark. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Wilma Burmeister; and a brother, Darrel.
