Graveside services for Lenora Lucille Weets, 72, Des Moines and formerly of Lost Nation, will be held at a later date at Mount Hope cemetery in Maquoketa.
Lenora Weets died Nov. 7, 1996 at her home of an apparent heart attack.
The daughter of William II and Alvina Luett Weets, she was born July 9, 1924 in Lost Nation. She married Emil Hack in June 1994 in Lowden.
Lenora Weets is survived by 3 daughters, Carmalee McBeth, Burlington; Sherami Thines, East Aurora, N.Y.; and Jolene Brown, West Branch; 4 brothers, William, Anamosa; Alan, Mechanicsville; and Harold and Darrell, both of Lost Nation; 3 sons-in-law, Larry McBeth, Terre Thines and Keith Brown; and 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Virginia (Victor) Hein.
