Graveside services for Ella D. Lafrenz, 95, Wheatland, were held May 4, 1996 at the New Liberty cemetery, with the Rev. Harold Koening officiating.

Mrs. Lafrenz died May 2 at the Wheatland Manor Nursing Home, following a long illness.

The daughter of John and Pauline Paustian Luettgens, she was born Jan. 20, 1901. She married Clarence Lafrenz April 17, 1929. He died in 1971.

Mrs. Lafrenz had lived in New Liberty and moved to Wheatland in 1973. She had been a resident of Wheatland Manor for the past 9 years.

She is survived by 2 nieces, Evelyn Lange, Wheatland and Alice Ewoldt, Davenport; and a nephew, Larry Luettgens, Wilton.
