Phyllis Ann Fuglsang Gage Weets

DEWITT — Phyllis Ann Fuglsang Gage Weets, 68, of DeWitt, died Sunday at Genesis Medical Center, DeWitt.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Schultz Funeral Home, DeWitt. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. John Lutheran Church, Bliedorn. The Rev. Dan Olson will be officiating. Interment will be in the Oakview Cemetery, Welton.

She was born Nov. 6, 1937, in Clinton County to Harold Matthew and Marvel Leona Barker Fuglsang. She married Lowell Gage in 1957. She then married Vernon Oldsen in 1985; he died in 1986.

She worked as a cook at the Candlelight, Tower Cafe, Varsity Drive-In and the Town Coffee Shop.

Survivors include two sons, Lowell (Bonnie) Gage of Clinton and Wesley (Michele) Gage of Corona, Calif.; three daughters, Gail Goldensoph, Mrs. Lori (Kurt) Hansen and Terrie Lasche of DeWitt; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; five sisters, Madonna Greve of Delmar, Mrs. Barbara (“Slim”) Eckelberg of DeWitt, Mrs. Darlene (Steve) Tietjens of Sabula, Mrs. Marvel (Alvin) Prusia of Delmar and Ivy Fuglsang of Clinton; and nieces and nephews.
